Janie Burnette and her son relocated from Frankfort, Kentucky to Forsyth County, Georgia in 1983. She has been a devoted Georgian ever since.
After a couple of years in Georgia, Janie met, fell in love with and married Gary Burnette. Their blended family included 4 children and many pets, so it was a very active and full household. Like most families through the years Janie, Gary and family had their trials and tribulations, but their religious beliefs kept them strong filling their home with lots of laughter and tears. Janie and Gary were happily married 36-years until Gary’s sudden passing in 2021. Janie and Gary owned and operated a profitable trucking company for 11-years while Janie attended Shorter College graduating Cum Laude along with working for the local hospital industry. She eventually changed careers to the State Farm Regional Office in Duluth where she worked 15-years. It was in the early 2000 when Janie decided that she could offer more of herself to people’s overall happiness. So, she once again changed careers to her passion of real estate. After all you must love what you do to be happy, and Janie absolutely loves what she does now!
